Manchester United fans may start to worry after Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Luke Shaw in the summer.
The left-back initially had a torrid time under Jose Mourinho’s management but has since managed to turn his situation around and win his manager over.
Shaw struggled with a host of injuries and fitness problems with the Portuguese boss even hinting that he has an attitude problem as well.
However, the Englishman managed to put it all behind him and has put in convincing performances of late that has seen him earn the praise of Mourinho.
The former Real Madrid manager even publicly promised an upcoming contract renewal but reports claim he’s yet to receive an offer.
According to Off The Post, the Daily Mirror report that Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping an eye on Luke’s contract situation as his current deal runs out in the summer.
It would seem that should the situation escalate out of United’s hands then the two London clubs will be quick to pounce to land the defender.
The Red Devils will certainly wish to wrap up negotiations as soon as possible to avoid that happening and risk losing Luke Shaw for free.
The report could simply be rumours as his agent may be attempting to earn the former Southampton man more money that the club may have been willing to offer him.
Shaw can definitely still turn himself into a Manchester United legend and remain at Old Trafford for another ten years should he decide to do so.
