Amazing for Manuel Lanzini: West Ham boost before Liverpool

Liverpool vs West Ham

Both Liverpool and West Ham should be fully recharged by the time they meet at Anfield this weekend.

After more than a week off, the Reds host the Hammers this Saturday in the Premier League.

When the sides met earlier in the season at the London Stadium, Liverpool ran out 4-1 victors. Mohamed Salah scored twice on that occasion.

Liverpool should come into the game full of confidence after a 5-0 Champions League win over Porto.

However there’s also been good news for West Ham regarding Manuel Lanzini.

Manuel Lanzini back for Anfield

Everything seems certain that West Ham playmaker Lanzini will be in the Hammers XI for the Liverpool game.

Lanzini has posted a not-so-cryptic update on social media revealing he’s ready for the the weekend’s fixture.

Manuel Lanzini Instagram update

Lanzini has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury against Bournemouth in January.

Lanzini was forced off during the 1-1 draw with Bournemouth, and the Argentine has missed a month of action since.

The 25-year-old, who is under contract with West Ham until 2020, has chipped in with three Premier League goals and six assists this season.

Lanzini has also previously been linked with a possible move to Liverpool.

Will the playmaker show the Reds what he can do in the upcoming EPL clash?

West Ham selection issues vs Liverpool

West Ham have been suffering with some big selection headaches in recent weeks. But those issues as starting to subside.

After his own hamstring problems, Marko Arnautovic returned to action last time out in the 2-0 win over Watford. The Austrian scored in his comeback match.

However David Moyes still has some problems. Pedro Obiang, Andy Carroll, Winston Reid and Edimilson Fernandes remain injured on the sidelines. While Arthur Masuaku is suspended for spitting against Wigan.
