Oddly enough, Rubio also said that “people still don’t know how” the shooting happened, so let’s pause for a moment to educate him: A 19 year old armed with a legally purchased semi-automatic rifle opened fire and massacred 17 people. That’s how it happened. Now, back to Rubio’s comments:

I think it’s important to know all of that before you jump to conclusions that there was some law that we could have passed that would have prevented it. And there may be, but shouldn’t we at least know the facts?” Rubio said on Fox News.

Rubio said it was not appropriate for his Senate colleagues to use the incident as an opportunity to call for increased gun control immediately.

Uh huh. Thoughts and prayers and too soon. Lather, rinse, repeat. 

Now, here’s the only thing you need to know about Marco Rubio and his thoughts on gun violence: He’s received $3,303,355 million from the NRA. 

Shut up, Marco and shove your NRA blood money straight up your Bible-quoting ass.
