Manchester United fans couldn’t be happier with Romelu Lukaku’s performance vs fellow Premier League side Huddersfield in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Belgian was on the scoresheet once more as he extends his FA Cup record of having scored in consecutive matches just to prove how much he loves the competition.
United were rather uninspiring, particularly in the first half but they were saved by Lukaku’s clinical nature in front of goal.
The striker has seen an upturn in form of late and deservedly got his goals having impressed recently but failing to convert.
Romelu’s quite often been starved of service from his teammates but that didn’t stop him from grabbing a couple of goals to help side get into the next round.
Romelu Lukaku deserves a lot of praise. Both goals were started from him; showed immense composure, strength and ruthlessness in front of goal. Been fantastic today and one of the only players trying to get Man United on the front foot.

Clinical, if nothing else, from United. Two chances and two goals. Lukaku involved in the build-up to his own goal again.

When the Lukaku haters realise he's now on 21 goals for the season already. pic.twitter.com/R2mgyqs6IC

Players next to Romelu Lukaku creating for him = him scoring goals. Funny that. Hasn't been happening enough especially lately.

Brilliant from Lukaku, it really is.

Lukaku is a demon man. That is a brilliant ball from Alexis Sanchez. Mad how good Lukaku can be when the ball is played on the ground.

Romelu Lukaku was brought in over the summer from Everton by Jose Mourinho as he aimed to improve the Red Devils’ front line.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was expected to eventually offer the former Chelsea man some stiff competition but he’s been unable to do so as of yet.
The Swede surprisingly recovered from his horrific injury earlier than most expected but it eventually proved to be too soon after he picked up a knock shortly after.
Ibrahimovic would’ve provide Lukaku more than just competition, he would also offer his teammate an opportunity to rest after featuring consistently throughout the season.
Whether Zlatan will return in time to do so still is yet to be seen but on the basis of Romelu’s current form, he won’t be missed.
