HAMPTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A fatal fire in Washington County is under investigation.

Police say the fire broke out Wednesday on South Hampton Road.

One of the residents survived and was transported to Rutland Regional Hospital. A second resident was found dead inside the home.

The names are being withheld until family members and next of kin are notified.
