Man United’s 8 injury problems

Heading into the Sevilla game, Man United have eight injury problems. That includes four certain absentees.

At the back, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo have been ruled out of the match. That means Mourinho will have to pick two from Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly.

Antonio Valencia, who missed the Huddersfield game, is expected to return against Sevilla.

In midfield, Marouane Fellaini is out of the game. In brighter news, Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera may both return from knocks.

Paul Pogba is also expected to be available after he was ill for the Huddersfield game.

Lastly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still on the sidelines with his knee problem.

After the Huddersfield game, Mourinho summed up United’s selection issues vs Sevilla:

Can we recover some of them to Wednesday? I believe so. I think Rashford, Herrera, Valencia – I think they have a chance.

Paul, I don’t know. Marco Rojo, Phil Jones, Marouane, Zlatan – I don’t think they have any chance.
