PSG aren't interested in this Man United star: report

Paris Saint Germain are not planning a swoop for Marcos Rojo in the summer at present, according to reports. Reports have suggested that Unai Emery was planning to make a bid for the Argentine defender after negotiations over a new contract at Old Trafford broke down. Rojo missed the early stages of the campaign with a knee injury and has only made five Premier League starts since returning in November. But according to ESPN‘s Jonathan Johnson, the Ligue 1 leaders have no plans in place to sign Rojo in the summer. In fact, following the 3-1 defeat at the Bernabeu, nothing is particularly certain at the Parc des Princes – and that includes their transfer policy. Emery was booed by segments of the home crowd ahead of PSG’s 5-2 win over Strasbourg on Saturday and you sense ...

United are also in the market for a new centre-back and manager Jose Mourinho is believed to be keen on signing the 26-year-old. Koulibaly began his senior club career with French side Metz in 2010, before moving to Belgian club Genk in 2012. He joined Italian side Napoli two years later and soon established himself as one of the best defenders in Serie A. Kou...

Wigan stun Man City in the FA Cup Monday was a great night for Manchester United. Along with Tottenham and Chelsea, Man United will now be fancying their chances of winning this season’s FA Cup. That’s after Wigan pulled off one of the shocks of the season beating Man City 1-0 in the fifth round. Will Grigg was the hero for the Latics, as Wigan booked a quarterfinal date with Southampton. Pep Guardiola ‘lost it’ after Fabian Delph One of the big talking points from the match was the red card served to Fabian Delph. Delph took out Wigan’s Max Power with a horrible tackle just before the interval. Referee Anthony Taylor eventually sent off the Man City fill-in left-back, but only after Taylor lead everyone to believe Delph would only receive a yellow. Did Wigan&...

Roberto Martinez explains how Romelu Lukaku has matured at Man United

Sports
Belgium manager Roberto Martinez has made note of how Romelu Lukaku has significantly matured since joining Manchester United. The Belgian arrived at the club for a £75m fee and made a storming start to life at Old Trafford, netting ten goals in his opening nine games. He then encountered a frustrating dry patch through October and November but has since recovered to take his tally to 21 goals by mid-february. And Martinez, speaking to the BBC, was quick to point out that Lukaku was growing as an individual at Man United. “When you play for the biggest clubs in the world, you have to accept criticism as well as praise and just get on with things,” he said. “Rom has always done that. He is an incredible goalscorer and he is still very young. This has been a really important chapter in

Michael Carrick explains why the Champions League is so important at Man United

Sports
Michael Carrick has emphasised the importance of Manchester United playing in the Champions League every year ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Sevilla. Jose Mourinho’s men can take a big step towards the quarter finals with a win over the fifth placed La Liga side in Spain. Man United have only progressed to the Champions League last eight on one occasion since 2011 – under David Moyes, funnily enough, in 2014 before being knocked out by Bayern Munich. And Carrick, speaking ahead of United’s visit to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium, made it clear that this was where they belonged and needed to stay. “It’s what we should expect of ourselves – to be at this stage of the Champions League,” he said. “That’s not being blasé, it’s just that should be our stand
