Ryan Mason has been forced to retire Sad news broke out on Tuesday that former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason had been forced to retire from football. The 26 year old sustained a horrific injury to his skull during Hull’s 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge last season. Mason made one appearance for England in 2015 when he came on for the last 16 minutes against Italy in The Three Lions’ European qualifying match.
