Eden Hazard ‘turns down’ Real Madrid & PSG

Eden Hazard talks to Telefoot

The big interview won French TV show Telefoot this weekend was with Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The conversation takes place just a few days before the Blues take on Barcelona in the Champions League.

It’s a non-stop feature of the Hazard narrative to constantly link the Belgian with a Stamford Bridge exit.

Despite repeated interviews on the topic, Hazard is incessantly badgered about moves away from Chelsea.

Could he join Real Madrid? What about PSG?

Telefoot again posed those questions to the Blues playmaker this weekend.

Chelsea’s Hazard ‘turns down’ Real Madrid & PSG

Hazard used Telefoot’s question as a fresh opportunity to confirm he’s happy at Chelsea:

In football anything can happen. But in football nothing can happen too. Every year they talk about Real Madrid or PSG. And when I want to change clubs, I will. But at the moment I’m good where I am.

I still have two year left on my contract. I feel very good over here. The fans love me, my family enjoys life over here. We will see.

Hazard on Olivier Giroud

The Belgian star was also asked for his opinion on Chelsea’s newest striker Olivier Giroud.

Giroud moved across London from Arsenal in the January transfer window.

Signing just an 18-month deal with the Pensioners, Chelsea splashed 18 million pounds on Giroud.

The hope from a French perspective is that Giroud will boost his fitness and form before the World Cup.

Hazard supported the arrival of Giroud. While noting the forward will need time to bed into the squad, he said Giroud can be an asset for Antonio Conte’s team.

The French international opened his Chelsea account on Friday night in the 4-0 FA Cup win over Hull.

Willian scored a brace against the Tigers, while Pedro bagged the other.
